How to clean Sality virus

The Sality virus is very popular in the internet and many personal computers around the world infected by the virus. The sality virus will infect any files in the system which has file extension .exe, . com and .scr. It will use the default share folder to spread the virus around the network and it is also use old autorun.inf to spreading.

The Sality virus was created in china / Taiwan and there are several websites in the internet which created to regenerate the virus with the new viruses. There is simple step to prevent the personal computer from virus infection by blocking the websites but if the virus updated to new versions then it will start to infect the personal computer through other websites. The Sality virus infection can be recognize easily, if the personal computer can’t run in save mode then it is infected by the Sality virus.

The manual steps to clean the Sality virus is disconnect the personal computer from the network, turn off the system restore when in cleaning process, turn off the default share and autorun.  The antivirus can be downloaded in the internet and scan the personal computer with Norman malware cleaner but before execute the program, rename the extension with .cmd. After the cleaning process repair the windows registry and reboot once again.
